Why are road closures required?

Roads are being closed under Section 16A of the ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984.

This provides B2022 with the relevant legal permissions to close the roads for the event. Full road closures will be in place for the duration of the event, and will be maintained with support from the police.
