UAC training sessions will be delivered at Camden House, East Parade, Birmingham B1 3PY.
The entrance to the Uniform and Accreditation will be identifiable by the Commonwealth Collective branding outside the building.
When you enter the reception area, a member of the Training Team will check you in and advise you further. We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your session to allow plenty of time to check-in.
Your training will cover everything you need to know in a single 4-hour long session. A short break will be incorporated however, we will not be supplying a meal. While we will offer refreshments such as hot drinks and biscuits, you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks.
Part of your session will also include a tour of the UAC. Despite training taking place on the second floor, the building is fully accessible with lifts in operation. If at any point you require to use this service, please ask a member of the Accreditation Team who will be happy to assist you. Guide dogs are also welcome.
Whilst there is no dedicated quiet or prayer room, the team will be able to accommodate an appropriate space if you require a private room.
There are multiple ways to get to the venue. Camden House is a 10-minute walk from New Street Station and 15-minute walk from Jewellery Quarter Station.
Multiple bus routes also stop directly by the venue, including numbers: 82 Platinum, 87 Platinum and 89.
There is no visitor parking at the venue, but there are Pay and Display car parks in proximity, including NCP Car Park, Newhall Street and Utilita Arena Birmingham Car Park.
However, a limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces are available UAC. Please get in touch with us, so that we can accommodate a space for you before your session via our chat function. To do so, in the bottom-right corner of this page, click on the pink 'Help/Chat' button if using a browser, or the pink '?/Chat icon' button if using a mobile device.
Please bear in mind that the venue and the parking lots are within Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone therefore, if your vehicle does not meet the emission standards, you will need to pay a fee to enter the low emission zone. You can check your vehicle’s eligibility here:
