Candidates must be 18 years old by the 1 April 2022. 

The reason for this is the vast majority of roles require workers for a high number of hours, over a short period of time.  People under 18 are protected in that they cannot legally work more than 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week, and must have two consecutive days off in a week. Unfortunately, this doesn’t fit with the 11 days of intensive activity while the Games takes place.
