West Midlands Police will be on hand to help as required. However, if a clear requirement is notified in writing to Birmingham 2022 for the Batonbearer to be accompanied by someone familiar to them, then we will do our utmost to accommodate any such request.
If a Batonbearer requires any form of assistance to carry the Baton, can they choose the person to assist them?
