It is proposed to build two temporary transport malls in Perry Park, south of the Alexander
Stadium, one for use by spectator shuttle buses and the other for use by accredited Games Family
vehicles such as official shuttle buses and other smaller vehicles. These malls are needed to
provided facilities for Games vehicles to set down and pick up large numbers of spectators and
Games officials in a safe and efficient manner.

The temporary Transport Malls will include the following elements:

• A Games Family Transport Mall with access via the new Athletes’ Route
• A Spectator Transport Mall made up of two ‘loops’
- a west loop with access via the existing stadium access road and egress via a
new exit onto Church Road
- an east loop with access via a new entry point from Church Road and exit via the
new Athletes’ Route which extends past the Aston Manor Cricket Club, towards
Alexander Stadium then onto Church Road
