All the emergency services are involved as part of the planning for the event and attend many core operational and safety meetings in the lead up to the event. They will all have a presence in the Event Control Room on the day of the event to ensure their response needs are maintained and unobstructed.
Access for emergency services will be unaffected throughout the road closures and will always be prioritised during the event. Plans will be put in place so that access to any part of the course or the surrounding area can be facilitated for the Emergency Services if required.
If you need urgent medical help on the day of these events, please call 999.
Please note, the event has its own medical provider to cover the needs of those people associated with the Triathlon and Para Triathlon events.
