Local Authorities were keen for the cycling Time Trial to be held in the Black Country and approached Games partners to see if this would be possible. 

This is a fantastic location for this event and will incorporate some of the area’s best known landmarks West Park start/finish location for the event, is a beautiful park that will provide the space needed to stage an event of this scale. 

The local area also has strong links to cycling road racing so it is very apt that the Time Trial is being held in this area.
