Volunteers will not receive free tickets to any of the Birmingham 2022 events. You are welcome to apply for tickets, and we will attempt, wherever possible, to schedule your volunteer shifts so that you can attend a Birmingham 2022 event that you have purchased tickets for.

Food and beverages/refreshments will be provided to you when you’re on shift during your allocated break. We will be taking dietary requirements during the application stage to cater to Volunteers’ needs.

No accommodation will be provided to volunteers. All volunteers are responsible for arranging, and paying for, any accommodation they may require before or during the Games.

Volunteers will receive free public transport on trains, buses and trams to and from venues in the West Midlands when on shift during Games time.  You will not be reimbursed for the cost of using a private car or any other mode of transport to attend your shifts.

There will be a separate transport plan for volunteers attending shifts at the Lee Valley Velopark in London.

Birmingham 2022 is unable to provide childcare for volunteers.
